The Vipp Swivel Chair Mesura Edition is a special version resulting from the collaboration between Vipp and the Barcelona-based architecture studio Mesura. The chair was developed in response to the Vipp Guesthouse installation presented during 3daysofdesign and translates the distinctive material world of this temporary installation into a lasting design object.

For the presentation, Mesura transformed the Vipp Garage into an immersive and playful environment. A vibrant yellow fabric ran across walls, floors, and furniture as a connecting element, even forming a central conversation pit. Precisely this fabric returns as the upholstery of the Mesura Edition Swivel Chair, preserving a tangible fragment of the installation.

The contrast between materials plays a leading role. The soft and tactile cotton and linen upholstery is combined with the cool, glossy character of the polished aluminum base. In doing so, the chair reflects the central premise of Mesura's installation: softening a visible metal structure with layers of warmth, color, and texture. The result is a distinctive version of the Vipp Swivel Chair where industrial design and softness meet. The intense yellow color gives the chair an almost architectural presence and makes it a powerful statement in your living room, home office, or a special project interior.
