The Tom Dixon Press Table Lamp is a sculptural design piece that brings together the strength of solid glass, refined detailing, and warm illumination. With its characteristic rounded forms and unique light reflections, the Press is a striking design object that commands attention both day and night.

The design draws inspiration from the recognizable shapes of maritime buoys and classic toys. These influences have been translated into a contemporary silhouette where soft curves and a bold, solid presence complement one another. The transparent glass lends the lamp a clear, architectural quality, allowing the material’s distinctive structure to take center stage.

The Press Table Lamp is crafted by pressing molten glass into a metal mold under high pressure. This artisanal production process creates the lamp’s signature shape and the subtle ribbed texture within the glass. When illuminated, it produces a captivating interplay of light and shadow, casting striped reflections all around.

A notable feature of this version is the inclusion of three interchangeable metal domes—in silver, gold, and black—which come as standard. These allow you to easily tailor the lamp’s appearance to suit the mood and materials of your interior.

Measuring 23.5 cm in height and 11.2 cm in diameter, the Press Table Lamp is compact enough for a bedside table, sideboard, or side table. Its integrated LED module emits a warm white light at 2700 Kelvin, reminiscent of the inviting glow of a traditional incandescent bulb. Pressed glass with unique light reflections

The Press collection by Tom Dixon is distinguished by a unique production technique in which molten glass is pressed into two- or three-part iron molds.

This technique allows for the creation of glass with a distinct shape and structure. Its rounded contours and curved lines give the lamp a bold, almost solid character, while the transparent material ensures a refined lighting experience.

When illuminated, the light refracts and reflects off the ridges in the glass, creating decorative light patterns that lend a special atmosphere to the surrounding space.

Due to the production process, small air bubbles may appear within the glass. These natural variations are inherent to the manufacturing method and give each lamp a subtle, unique character.

Three interchangeable finishes

The Tom Dixon Press Table Lamp comes with three interchangeable metal domes, allowing you to easily alter the lamp’s appearance.

Silver: a cool, sophisticated metallic look that complements modern and minimalist interiors.

Gold: a warm, luxurious finish that adds a rich, elegant accent to the transparent glass.

Black: a bold, understated contrast for a more architectural aesthetic.

With these three finishes, the Press Table Lamp can be adapted to suit various interior styles and personal preferences.

Warm, dimmable LED light

The Press Table Lamp features a replaceable 6W LED module with a warm color temperature of 2700 Kelvin.

With a light output of 720 lumens, the lamp combines functional illumination with a pleasant, atmospheric glow. The lighting is dimmable, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted according to the time of day.

The LED module has a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours and is available as a spare part from the manufacturer. An LED module with a colour temperature of 3000K is also available separately.
