Addendo Lamp

Nordic Tales Addendo Table Lamp – Mouth-Blown Glass

The Nordic Tales Addendo Lamp is a unique lighting piece for anyone who loves combining books and design. Designed to sit at the end of a row of books, this compact glass lamp blends ambient lighting with the practical function of a bookend.

Each Addendo is crafted in Europe by artisans using traditional mouth-blowing techniques. This manual production process ensures that every piece is subtly unique; slight variations give the lamp its distinctive character and highlight the craftsmanship behind the design.

A standout feature is its dual-layer glass construction. The outer layer is smooth and serene, while the inner layer boasts an organic, swirling structure. This movement within the glass lends the Addendo a playful quality, evoking a gentle breeze or a thought slowly unfolding.

Beyond being a lighting object, the Addendo serves as a functional bookend. It keeps a row of books neatly in place while casting a warm, atmospheric glow across the shelf. This transforms the bookcase from mere storage into an integral part of the interior's lighting scheme.

The name "Addendo" is inspired by the word "appendix"—an addition placed at the end. It is a fitting reference to both the lamp’s placement at the end of a row of books and its role as the finishing touch for the bookcase.
