In this series, Kay Bojesen's iconic songbird is given a contemporary look with a glossy finish and subtle color gradients. Each Story Bird carries its emotion on its chest, immortalized on a small name tag with a message in Danish and English.

Glæde/Joy represents joy, lightness, and shared moments of happiness. The bird combines the playfulness of a rainbow with a fresh, soft color composition. The wings and tail show a refined transition from mint green to aqua, while the dusty yellow head adds a warm softness. The pink beak and purple legs—along with the matching name tag—make the whole vibrant and harmonious.

At 15.5 cm tall, Glæde/Joy is crafted from FSC®-certified beechwood. The design captures the essence of joy in a sculptural form – perfect as a gift for a birthday, graduation, wedding, or as a lasting memento of a special moment.
