The Deville bistro table Ø55 cm, designed by Julien Renault for HAY Outdoor, is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic bistro table, tailored to modern outdoor living. With its compact size, gently curved frame, and balanced proportions, the table exudes an open and inviting character.

The table is made from at least 60% recycled aluminum, making it rust-resistant, durable, and lightweight. The tilting tabletop makes the Deville bistro table exceptionally practical: easy to move, store, or stack efficiently when space demands.

Available in both round and square versions, in various sizes and colors, the Deville table combines robustness with an understated, nostalgic look. Ideal for balconies, patios, gardens, cafés, and terraces—anywhere flexibility, durability, and timeless design meet.

About the designer:

French designer Julien Renault grew up near Paris and studied industrial design at ESAD Design & Art School in Reims, France, and ECAL in Switzerland. These two different backgrounds have contributed to his working method—a combination of objective and rational methods with artistic and personal freedom.

Currently working from his studio in Brussels, Julien finds inspiration everywhere, making him unafraid to enhance the everyday. Julien is convinced that all objects have a subconscious effect on our daily lives and expresses the interconnectedness between objects and their surroundings in his designs, which he creates for a number of international brands.

For HAY, Julien designed the Pastis table and chair series, the Layout chair series, the Compass lamp collection and the Deville collection.
