A Wall & Ceiling Lamp with Sculptural Elegance
The Fossino wall and ceiling lamp by Nordic Tales, designed by Jonas Høeghaard (born 2025), is a refined fusion of nature, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. The shape is inspired by a fossilized sea urchin: the subtle indentations in the glass follow an organic rhythm that references both natural structures and the geometric elegance of Art Deco.
The lampshade is crafted from European, hand-formed glass (3–4 mm thick), which softly filters the light and casts a warm, atmospheric glow. The result is a calm, almost poetic light that is never overpowering. The decorative brass disc adds a refined accent and can be removed as needed, allowing the Fossino to effortlessly switch between expressive and minimalist.
Thanks to its great installation flexibility, the Fossino is versatile. The lamp can be mounted on the wall or ceiling using the included cord with a switch, but can also be connected directly to a fixed installation. This makes Fossino suitable as a standalone mood light, in a series along a hallway, or as elegant lighting in your living room or bedroom.
Fossino makes a subtle statement: understated, sculptural, and timeless—typically Nordic Tales.
