The LAYERED Tom Morris Collection is an exceptional range of hand-woven designer rugs that brings together refined simplicity, natural materials, and a timeless aesthetic. Developed in collaboration with London-based interior architect and design consultant Tom Morris, this collection blends traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to color and texture.

The rugs are hand-woven in Bhadohi, India, using the traditional pit-loom technique. This process creates a flat, compact weave with a distinctive density and a subtle, natural surface texture.

Combining 100% wool weft yarns with a 100% cotton warp, the rugs offer a perfect balance of warmth, durability, and comfort. With a thickness of just 5–6 mm, they lie low and sleek against the floor, making them exceptionally well-suited for a variety of living spaces.

While all pieces in the Tom Morris Collection share the same underlying pattern, the use of different colors gives each rug its own unique character and atmosphere—whether serving as a calm foundation in a living room or as a sophisticated accent in a dining room or bedroom.

The Tom Morris Collection is crafted using the traditional pit-loom weaving technique. This artisanal method gives each rug its signature flat structure and compact finish.

The natural wool provides warmth and softness, while the cotton base ensures the durability of the weave. With its subtle pattern and refined color palette, the rug integrates effortlessly with both modern and classic furniture designs.

About Tom Morris

Tom Morris is a London-based interior architect, design consultant, and author. He is the founder of Morrisstudio and has spent many years writing for renowned international publications such as *Wallpaper*, *Architectural Digest*, *Monocle*, and the *Financial Times*.
