About the designer

Philippe Malouin is known for his unique ability to to combine sculptural design with functionality and comfort. The British-Canadian designer studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven, the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris, and the Université de Montréal. From his studio in London, he designs furniture, objects, and interiors that are appreciated worldwide for their simplicity, innovation, and character.

With the Mimi Sofa Collection, Malouin created a contemporary seating collection in which softness, comfort, and sustainability take center stage. The result is a series of sofas that are not only visually appealing but are also designed to be used intensively and appreciated for years to come.
