About the designer

Claire Lavabre is a French designer and photographer based in Copenhagen. After graduating from ENSCI/Les Ateliers, she collaborated with leading designers and architects on diverse projects in the fields of product design and photography. From her own studio, she develops objects and visual projects in which aesthetics, material experience, and functionality take center stage.

Her work is characterized by a meticulous sense of composition, where color, texture, and form come together in a subtle manner. This approach is clearly visible in the Posto Table Lamp: a design in which simplicity and refinement reinforce each other and in which every detail fulfills a well-thought-out function. For HAY, Claire Lavabre designed a lamp that convincingly showcases the beauty of restrained design.
