In this series, Kay Bojesen's iconic songbird is given a modern interpretation with a glossy finish and carefully crafted color gradients. Each Story Bird wears its sentiment on its chest, captured on a small name tag with a message in both Danish and English.

The Passion/Passion variant exudes warmth, devotion, and genuine love. The palette of soft pink and deep red tones gives the bird an honest, heartfelt glow. The wings and tail show a refined transition in light pink, combined with a plum-colored head, purple beak, and legs in a slightly deeper shade of purple. The result is a distinctive yet harmonious design object – full of soul and character.

About the designer:

Kay Bojesen (1886-1958) is one of the most important pioneers of Danish design. Trained as a silversmith in Georg Jensen's workshop, he designed several silver products, such as cutlery and serving dishes, including his famous Grand Prix cutlery. Kay Bojesen also worked with other materials and was particularly interested in exploring the possibilities of wood.
