The Oblique table, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the ASPLUND Collection, is a refined example of Scandinavian design where functionality and architecture converge. The inspiration for this series arose during the interior design of a Norwegian hotel, where the designers were looking for a sleek desk with minimal dimensions and a light, almost floating character.

This sense of lightness is achieved through the characteristic diagonal lines that give the table its name: Oblique – French for slope. This subtle, slanted shape runs like a thread through the design, creating a visual tension that distinguishes the table without becoming dominant.

Made of powder-coated steel with an elegant bronze finish, the Oblique table has a sleek and modern appearance, while the structure remains robust and durable.
