Astep's Model 2129 is one of Gino Sarfatti's most remarkable and interesting designs.

The lamp is mounted on the ceiling and the cord runs through a large arc of plexiglass. The mounting on the ceiling can be rotated 360 degrees. In combination with the dark lampshade, the lamp makes a modest statement. Opposite it is a small counterweight that perfectly balances the bow.

This 1969 classic has been remade by Astep in collaboration with Flos not to forget Gino Sarfatti's brilliant creations! Since then, the lamp has been replaced by an LED and the light is operated with a foot switch. The lamp fits nicely above the dining table or in a room where 360 ​​degrees rotation comes into its own.

The lampshade is made of aluminum and it is painted in the colors white and caviar gray. Both the ceiling mounting plug and the counterweight are made of white lacquered brass. The on / off switch is located on the cord of the lamp. With this same button you can also dim the light.

Gino Sarfatti played an important role in the history of industrial design in Italy, and he has developed more than 700 lamps.

Some of his most popular lamps is the 2097 chandelier, also known as the Sarfatti chandelier. A chandelier designed in 1958 is one of the most popular chandeliers to this day.

Model 548 from the Astep collection was designed in 1951. The third generation of the Sarfatti family brought this lamp back to life in 2013 when it was relaunched as a retro-modern table lamp.
