The SB Cinquantotto is very minimalist in shape and style, the Astep SB Cinquantotto Suspension Light has a beautifully frosted opal glass sphere, which is mouth-blown with the traditional Italian craftsmanship in mind.

Perfectly radiating a delicate glow, the SB Cinquantotto is available in two sizes, with a diameter of 32cm or 20cm, and can have a strong presence over a dining table or have a slightly more modest look while still retaining the same timeless qualities.

About the designers:

Part of the Italian architectural duo Santi Borachia, Carlo Santi and Vittorio Borachia met in the 1940s when they were both students at the Polytechnic School in Milan and found common ground in exploring the world of architecture and design.

The duo was involved, among other things, with the lighting company Arteluce, which at the time attracted the most talented architects and designers thanks to the visionary and experimental approach of its founder, Gino Sarfatti.
