Designed by the French design duo Leclercq Viallet, the HAY Canelé Table Lamp plays with the contrast between a graphic metal structure and the softness of pleated textile.
The result is a lightweight, characterful table lamp that serves as a decorative object in the interior even when switched off.
The base consists of a slender, three-legged stainless steel frame. Surrounding this is the pleated polyester lampshade, with vertical pleats that create a subtle rhythm and added depth. When the lamp is lit, the fabric softly filters the light, producing a warm, atmospheric glow.
Standing 37 cm tall with a diameter of 24 cm, the Canelé is compact and easy to move. It sits comfortably on a side table, cabinet, bookshelf, or wide windowsill, yet its light weight also allows it to be placed low down or directly on the floor.
Canelé is available in Warm White, Tomato Red, Almond Green, and Soft Blue. From understated, tone-on-tone looks to bold color accents, each version lends a unique character to the simple silhouette.
A 240 cm black braided cord with an integrated on/off switch completes the design. The lamp is compatible with an E14 LED bulb (max. 8W); the bulb is not included.
