Aurora Rug Hand Tufted

Asplund Aurora Rug.

Gabriel Tan's inspiration for the Aurora rug was the Northern Lights, this experience in the far north has always stayed with him.

The designer started working with different color variants of the aurora, such as purple and bright green, but ultimately opted for a classic and warmer palette that suited the home better.

You can use the rug on the floor or on the wall.

About the designer:

Singapore and Porto-based designer Gabriel Tan found inspiration in the Northern Lights when creating this rug for Swedish Asplund.

“I found inspiration in the fascinating but elusive natural phenomena of the Scandinavian countries.

Materials used: Hand tufted, 75% wool and 25% Tencel®.
