The idea with the lamp was to create a simple shape with a clear distinction between a base, a single arm and a shade. The lamp is predominantly made of brass or black steel and has no visible connections. The model in black steel has undergone a black process, giving the steel a beautiful satin, gray-black surface.

The light source consists of an energy-efficient COB LED that provides excellent brightness and color rendering. With minimal directional movements you can easily illuminate with Chipperfield 102 - Wall lamp. The high-frequency driver in the lamp also provides a flicker-free light that can be dimmed. The Chipperfield 102 series also includes a desk lamp and floor lamp.
