The iconic Eames House Bird already enriched the famous Eames House of the designer couple Charles and Ray Eames and is now  available in white oiled ash, the Eames House Bird cotton white.

This bird can also be found in the private residence, Eames House. For over 50 years, this bird has been the epitome of design, a truly timeless piece.

The bird was one of the most beloved decorative objects in the home of Charles and Ray Eames and is now known as the black, wooden bird: the Eames House Bird. The bird appears in many photographs of the famous designer couple and even made its way onto a commercial poster of Eames chairs. The original wooden bird was a piece of Appalachian folk art that Charles and Ray Eames discovered during their travels.

Like the original model, Vitra's Eames House Bird is made of alder with steel wire legs.

Now available in a cotton white ash edition in a white oiled finish. The legs, just like the classic version, are made of steel wire.
