Colorful that is the best description of the Two-Colour table, a design by the Belgian Muller Van Severen for Hay. He drew inspiration from the differences and similarities of the materials used and the diverse ways in which they can be applied.

Sturdy steel tubes and the organically colored Valchromat (solid MDF) together form a stylish silhouette that is interrupted by the contrasting color elements. The different color combinations have been carefully selected here and form the core of the design. The furniture emphasizes the natural beauty of the materials and impresses with its minimalism. this makes the table look anything but ordinary.

About the designers:

Muller Van Severen was founded in 2011 by the Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The couple has always been on an inspired quest to create sculpturally interesting furniture objects. Their work moves somewhere between design and art and is characterized by a passion for architecture and an appreciation for materials. The designer duo won numerous awards and collaborated with renowned international museums and galleries.

Material and size:
The legs and frame of the Two-Colour are made of powder-coated tubular steel. Here you can choose between the colors ocher, maroon red or ivory. The integrated, screwable plastic glider is adjustable up to 12 mm, so that the table always stands straight, even on uneven surfaces.

The round table top with a thickness of 30 mm rests on a frame with crossbar and is made of Valchromat. This is a tough, organically dyed, FSC™ certified wood fiber material finished with a high gloss water based lacquer. This provides a soft, water-repellent finish. For the finish you can choose from six color combinations, these have been carefully selected, making the design of the table with its minimalist, colored design a statement in your interior. At the bottom of the steel legs are integrated screw-in plastic glides. These are adjustable up to 12 millimeters.

Note: The material is made of natural wood fibers that give each table top a unique look. Due to the organic dyeing process, the fibers and colors vary slightly from table to table. Small surface differences are a natural part of the material and can occur, but immediately give the table its authentic look.
