A 100% wool rug with the signature cross design by Swedish designer Pia Wallen.

Understated yet distinctive, the natural gray and white base tones of the Asplund Stitch Rug create a warm environment, influenced by the contrasting tones of Pia Wallen's striking cross pattern, the rug is available in olive, black, camel and white.

The dhurrie carpet is made using the traditional nomadic techniques, where the hand-woven natural wool is made by hand by skilled craftsmen on traditional flat looms. Placed consistently over the rug, small stitches create a minimal criss-cross pattern that references the classic designs of Wallen.

The rug is ideal for your home  in the bedroom or the living room.

Materials and finishes: 100% wool.

Note: All carpets when new shed fibers during the first few months. this will disappear over time but will never disappear completely. The use of non-slip mats is recommended.

About the designer:

Swedish textile designer Pia Wallen rose to prominence for creating bold minimalist objects made from felt, her signature material.

The felted wool slippers and the Crux blanket became instant classics, combining traditional Swedish artisan techniques with a strong contemporary edge. Rooted and inspired by her Swedish culture, Wallen continues to draw influence from traditional Swedish materials and shapes.
