LOUIS POULSEN PH 4/3 PENDANT LAMP.

The lamp is launched in 1966, and the PH 4/3 pendant features layered shades, an anti-glare disc and pure white surface, providing smooth and pleasant light with no glare. The appearance of the PH 4/3 pendant is calm, smooth, and geometrically clean, and the 40 cm wide shade offers ample and soft light for example in the living room, bedroom and above the dining table. A designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925–26.

About the Designer:

Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a famous Danish designer who studied at the Technical School at Frederiksberg, Denmark, from 1911 to 1914, and then at the Technical College in Copenhagen from 1914 to 1917. He started practicing traditional functionalistic architecture, but over the years his professional interests changed to focus mainly on lighting which is what he became famous for.
