The Passerelle collection is characterized by the use of aluminium, steel and wood. The generous size of the table top makes it ideal for working from home, while the lightness of the desk makes it versatile and easy to use in your living room.

Materials and finishes:
Desk with a wood veneer top finished with a water-based lacquer. Available in oak, black oak or walnut. Powder-coated aluminum crossbar and solid steel bolts.

About the designers:

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Breton brothers, are the rising stars of European design and the most promising industrial designers to emerge from France since Philippe Starck in the 1980s.

A combination of romance and functionality runs through the work of both brothers. Like all truly talented designers, the Bouroullecs have defined a distinctive visual style, which Jasper Morrison (one of the designers they most admire) described as "thoughtful and disciplined, with a real spirit and poetry."

The brothers also have an extraordinary ability to reinvent traditional types of furniture or products by recreating them in a way that is particularly suited to their generation, who often move from place to place, and then take their furniture with them.
