The characteristic design invites you to sit down. As the designer says "Olivia is as beautiful as an elegant dress. Timeless and comfortable to sit on. It doesn't scream for attention, but grows with you the longer you look at it," says Tatu Laakso.

The Olivia chair was designed during Tatu's master studies at the Aalto University of Art, Design and Architecture. The chair received immediate approval, and Tatu Laakso was honored with third prize in the Pure Talents Contest 2021 at IMM Cologne, which is internationally recognized as a leading competition for young designers.

Tatu Laakso sincerely believes in making products truly sustainable. He thinks wooden chairs are more ecological than their plastic brothers and sisters. Moreover, he is happy to make a chair again if it is well made and lasts a long time.
