Obi wool rug

Asplund Obi rug.

The Obi is a 100% wool rug with an organic shape and was designed by the designer duo Färg & Blanche for the Asplund rug collection.

The rug is tufted entirely by hand and is a blend of New Zealand and fine Indian wool.

The name Obi was given to the rug because it was inspired by Japanese knots and strings that can be found, for example, on the belt of a geisha's kimono.

The intention is to create the effect of a three-dimensional organic shape on a flat surface (wall / floor).

The dimensions: medium Ø120 cm / large Ø150 cm.
