About the designer:

Peter J. Lassen (1930-2019) was a Danish furniture designer who founded his own furniture company Montana Furniture in 1982. Originally a naval officer, Lassen began working with furniture in 1954 with legendary Danish designers, including Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton, whose influence can be seen in his clean, simplistic style.
