1243 is an iconic Montana shelf with two spacious drawers and one open compartment. Providing the simultaneously sharp and soft Montana design combined with practical storage space. A welcome addition to living room, bedroom and entrance hall.

This shelf is available in all 41 of Montana’s environmentally friendly lacquer colours that have been studiously developed to harmonise with one another. Use this module creatively and create a wholly personal storage solution to express your unique style. The 1243 shelf is available in depths of 30, 38 and 46.8 cm with lacquered handles.

Aluminum handles and push function is available at our retailers. The module can be purchased with suspension rail, plinth, legs or castors. Also available completely without if you wish to place the module on top of another Montana shelf as part of a personal storage solution combining several modules from our shelving system.

About the designer:

Peter J. Lassen (1930-2019) was a Danish furniture designer who founded his own furniture company Montana Furniture in 1982. Originally a naval officer, Lassen began working with furniture in 1954 with legendary Danish designers, including Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton, whose influence can be seen in his clean, simplistic style.
