Designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958.
A true Danish design icon that has become immensely popular worldwide.
The PH Snowball pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen is a masterpiece of light distribution and design. Designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen, the lamp provides completely glare-free, diffused light that is evenly distributed. The symmetrically positioned shades reflect the light in an elegant and soft way, creating a harmonious atmosphere – ideal for above a dining table or in an open space.
Although the lamp was presented at the same time as the iconic PH 5 at the Museum of Applied Art in Copenhagen, the Snowball remained in the background at the time. It was not until 1983 that this timeless classic was relaunched – and rightly so.
Why choose the PH Snowball?
