After a long day, relax or read a book in this comfortable, luxurious Uchiwa armchair. This spacious armchair was designed based on the soft, open shape of an authentic Japanese hand fan.

This open shape makes it an inviting place to unwind and looks beautiful in any interior. This unique design comes from Doshi-Levien, a London-based design studio founded by fellow students Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. They have already built a solid reputation, and their specialty is creating technically advanced pieces with a cultural touch, such as this Uchiwa designer armchair.

The armchair is available in an endless variety of versions thanks to a collaboration with Kvadrat and Camo Leather. Kvadrat is a Danish textile manufacturer and one of Europe's leading manufacturers in design and quality. Thanks to this wide selection of fabrics and colors, you can design this designer chair exactly to your own taste.

The front and back can be finished in the same fabric or two different fabrics for a playful effect. The solid oak base is available in various finishes, from soaped oak to stained to match the upholstery.
