Hay - PC pendant lamp

The lamp is made of anodized aluminum, which protects the surface against rust / corrosion. The light source is hidden from view by means of a polycarbonate diffuser and, moreover, the light is spread down in an atmospheric way. You can remove the diffuser for more light output or more direct light. The model is designed for use with a dimmable LED light source. The light cannot be dimmed on the luminaire, but can be dimmed in the wall via an external dimmer if desired, and can of course also be switched as usual.

The PC lamp is available in three sizes (small, medium and large) and per size in some of the following colors (soft black, aluminum, emerald green and blush red). The corresponding textile cable is black for all variants. The ceiling cap is included.

About the designer:

trained as an artist, Pierre Charpin has devoted himself to furniture and object design since the early 1990s. His approach to design is strongly influenced by his artistic background. Pierre’s research on form and color characterize his work and can be seen in both, limited edition products and industrial products like the PC lamp. The use of a simple vocabulary and elementary forms is a constant aspect in his work, as well as the desire to offer sensual objects. Drawing, which he practices as a starting point for his designs, is an essential part of his creative process. Pierre Charpin's pieces have been included in exhibitions around the world and are held in many museum collections. He was elected Designer of the Year 2017 at Maison & Objet. He lives and works in Paris.
