The Vaarnii 1006 Hans Pendant Lamp is the smallest model in the Hans collection, drawing its distinctive shape from the work of Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s. Despite its compact size, the pendant lamp makes a strong statement, with natural pine wood playing the leading role.

Light shines through the wood's lively surface, creating a soft, honey-like glow. The natural grain remains visible, resulting in subtle variations in light, color, and texture. This lends warmth and depth to the simple form, whether the lamp is switched on or off.

With a diameter of just 14 cm and a height of 26 cm, the 1006 Hans is exceptionally versatile. Hang it alone above a small table or bedside, over a kitchen island, or in the hallway. For a more dramatic lighting effect, multiple Hans pendants can be grouped together at varying heights or in a rhythmic composition.
The lamp is crafted from pine wood with a matte oil-wax finish. This treatment preserves the wood's natural appearance and highlights its characteristic grain. A black cable and black steel ceiling canopy create a graphic contrast with the warm pine.

Hans Collection
The design of the Hans collection is inspired by the work of Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson from the 1960s. The 1006 is the smallest member of the collection but retains the same combination of a recognizable silhouette, natural materials, and atmospheric lighting effect found in the larger models.

Light & atmosphere
The Hans 1006 features an E27 socket and, for the European version, comes with a 7W LED light source. With a color temperature of 3000K, the lamp emits a pleasantly warm light. The included light source has a luminous flux of 1060 lumens and a rated lifespan of 15,000 hours.

The lamp itself is not dimmable, but it can be paired with a suitable external dimmer if a dimmable light source is used.
