The Artek Aalto Stool 60 Birch – Walnut Stain is a warm and refined version of one of the most iconic stools in modern design history. Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933, Stool 60 symbolizes Finnish craftsmanship, functional simplicity, and timeless design.

The design has been reduced to its essence: a round seat and three characteristic curved L-shaped legs. This innovative method of wood bending made it possible to connect solid birch wood directly to the seat and became a recognizable element within Alvar Aalto's work.

In this version, the birch wood is finished with a walnut-colored stain. This gives the Stool 60 a deeper, warmer appearance, while the natural structure and character of the birch wood remain visible.
