Audo Conrad Coffee Table.

The Conrad Lounge Table by Audo Copenhagen, designed by Danish designer Laura Lange, is a sculptural coffee table in which clean lines and soft curves come together in a particularly balanced way. For the design, Lange drew inspiration from the refined design language of Japanese architecture, which is clearly visible in the low silhouette and the elegantly curved tabletop.

With its generous dimensions of 149 x 74 cm, the Conrad Lounge Table forms a powerful centerpiece in your living room. The tabletop curves subtly upwards, reminiscent of the characteristic rooflines of traditional Japanese temples. This soft curve gives the table a light, almost floating appearance and forms a beautiful contrast with the sturdy base.

The top is crafted from molded oak veneer with solid oak edges and finished with lacquer. The base is also made of lacquered solid oak. This creates a calm and harmonious whole in which the natural appearance of the wood and the architectural form of the design reinforce each other.

Despite its low height of only 33 cm, Conrad has a clear spatial presence. The sculptural base visually anchors the design, while the elongated tabletop offers ample surface area for books, magazines, decorative objects, and daily necessities.

The Conrad Lounge Table fits beautifully in a modern living room, but thanks to its generous size and distinctive character, it is also particularly suitable for larger lounge environments, hotel lobbies, and restaurants. In her designs, Danish designer Laura Lange seeks a balance between functionality, material, and sculptural form. For the Conrad Lounge Table, she found inspiration in Japanese architecture, primarily using low horizontal lines and characteristic curved roof shapes as a starting point.
