The Mogensen Bench by Fredericia, designed by the legendary Danish designer Børge Mogensen, is a beautiful example of timeless Danish furniture design. Originally designed in 1956, the bench shares its clear design language and balanced proportions with the famous Mogensen 3236 Chair.
As with many of Børge Mogensen's designs, the strength lies in simplicity. Unnecessary details have been omitted, allowing the focus to be entirely on the construction, natural materials, and proportions. The long, slender base of smoked and oiled oak gives the bench a light, architectural appearance, while the leather seat provides warmth and comfort.
The seat is upholstered in Omni semi-aniline leather and features comfortable polyester padding. The rich cognac-colored leather forms a particularly beautiful combination with the oak wood. Moreover, semi-aniline leather retains many of the natural properties of the hide and will gradually develop a characteristic patina through use.
With a width of 171.5 cm, the Mogensen Bench offers ample space without appearing visually heavy. This makes it versatile for use: at a dining table, in an entrance or hallway, at the foot of a bed, or as a standalone piece of furniture in the living room. The understated design also comes into its own perfectly in stylish offices, hotels, and other hospitality interiors.
A piece of furniture that is not dependent on trends, but rather becomes more beautiful and personal the longer it is used.

Genuine leather is a natural product. As a result, color, grain, and texture may vary from piece to piece. Furthermore, the semi-aniline leather will develop a natural patina under the influence of use, light, and time. These changes are inherent to the material and give the sofa its own character over time.
Maintenance:
Wipe the wooden frame with a clean, dry cloth, always working in the direction of the wood grain. Spilled liquids must be removed immediately.
For the leather upholstery, regular, gentle vacuuming is recommended using a soft upholstery nozzle and medium suction power.
