The Draw Vase by Normann Copenhagen, designed by TABLEAU, is a unique sculptural vase where art, spontaneity, and contemporary design come together. The design is based on the intuitive line drawings of Julius Værnæs and translates the freedom of a drawn line into an expressive three-dimensional form.

The power of Draw lies in the contrast between its spontaneous appearance and its carefully crafted form. The design almost looks as if a single fluid brushstroke or pencil stroke has been lifted from the paper and subsequently shaped into an object. As a result, the vase has a different silhouette from every angle, creating a playful interplay of lines.

Draw is crafted from 100% transparent resin. The material captures and refracts ambient light, causing the vase to constantly change its appearance throughout the day. Light, shadow, and reflections emphasize the organic contours and the tactile texture of the surface.
