The &Tradition Gio LN28 floor lamp, designed by Luca Nichetto in 2026, combines the rich tradition of Venetian craftsmanship with a distinctly contemporary design. A sculptural floor lamp in which light, metal, and natural stone come together in a refined manner.

The characteristic upward-facing lampshades are crafted from spun metal and diffuse a soft, indirect light. Thanks to the dimming function, the light intensity can be easily adjusted from bright functional light to a warm, atmospheric glow. With its generous height of 180 cm, the Gio LN28 has an elegant presence in the room without feeling heavy.

A special detail is the solid base made of Emperador marble. The natural grain and warm color nuances of the marble form a beautiful contrast with the slender metal construction in dark chrome. Each marble base has its own nuances, giving every Gio floor lamp a subtly unique character.

Quality is also central to production. The shades are carefully spun into shape and then finished, while the metal stem is plated and the marble base is cut and polished. Moreover, the steel used is highly recyclable and can be reused in a subsequent production cycle.

The Gio LN28 feels both architectural and decorative and looks stunning next to a sofa or armchair, but is at least as striking as a standalone lighting object in a spacious living room, entrance hall, or hospitality interior.

About Luca Nichetto
The Italian designer Luca Nichetto works from his studios in Italy and Sweden. After studying at the IUAV in Venice, he founded his own multidisciplinary design studio in 2006. His work is characterized by a unique combination of Italian craftsmanship, Scandinavian influences, and a distinctly contemporary design language.
