The String System Living Room A is a stylish, tall wall unit that combines the iconic Scandinavian design of String Furniture with maximum storage space. The combination of dark brown steel floor panels and dark oak shelves creates a warm, contemporary look that fits perfectly in both modern and classic interiors.

The floor panels are made of high-quality powder-coated steel and form the distinctive base of the String System. The shelves are made of MDF with a refined dark oak veneer, which adds warmth to the minimalist design.

With a width of 120 cm, a height of 200 cm, and a depth of just 30 cm, this tall shelving unit offers a surprising amount of storage space without taking up much floor space.

About the designer

The Swedish architect Nils "Nisse" Strinning (1917–2006), together with his wife Kajsa Strinning, designed the iconic String System, which was introduced in 1949. Thanks to its modular structure, minimalist design, and exceptional flexibility, the system grew into one of the most beloved Scandinavian design classics. Today, String Furniture remains synonymous with timeless design and smart storage solutions.
