The Lozza rug by Layered, designed by artist Erik Bratsberg, proves that the most beautiful designs sometimes emerge from the most everyday moments. Surprisingly, the inspiration for Lozza came from a wine stain Bratsberg noticed in a restaurant. The irregular shape and layered contours gave him the idea to translate the spontaneous traces of daily life into a refined, artistic rug.

The result is a hand-tufted design in which organic forms overlap and flow into one another. Three carefully coordinated color tones create a subtle interplay of depth and balance. The lighter outer edge allows the rug to visually blend into the space, while the deeper shades in the center provide tranquility and a natural focus.

Thanks to the varying pile height, a refined relief is created with an almost three-dimensional effect. Crafted from 100% high-quality wool, the Lozza not only feels luxurious but also offers the durability and warmth for which natural wool is known. With its sculptural appearance and organic design, the Lozza is a contemporary eye-catcher that comes into its own perfectly in both modern and classic interiors.
