About the designer

Gudmundur Ludvik (1970) is an Icelandic designer who lives and works in Denmark. His background as a carpenter, furniture maker, sculptor, and furniture designer forms the basis of his characteristic design approach. Ludvik combines traditional Scandinavian woodworking with a contemporary vision of form, function, and construction.

In his work, he constantly explores the balance between simplicity and technical refinement. Each design originates from a deep understanding of materials and production methods, resulting in furniture with a clean appearance, durable quality, and well-thought-out functionality.
