Ovata Dining Chair – Wendelbo

The Ovata dining chair by Wendelbo combines sculptural elegance and exceptional comfort in a refined, modern design. Designed by the Swedish collective Note Design Studio, the chair was developed from one clear concept: to create a piece of furniture that not only offers comfort but also radiates it.

That feeling is immediately reflected in the soft, inviting shapes and the subtle balance between volume and lightness. The fully upholstered seat and backrest are generously filled with high-quality foam, making the compact shape feel surprisingly comfortable – designed for effortless relaxation for hours on end.

The characteristic beveled edge of the seat gives the design a refined sharpness, while the slender wooden legs in light oak, dark oak, or black oak create an airy appearance. As a result, the chair maintains an elegant silhouette that looks both warm and modern.

Although the Ovata complements the eponymous dining table collection perfectly, the chair feels just as at home at other tables or as a standalone object in restaurants, hospitality projects, or stylish residential interiors. About Note Design Studio:
