Hornbaek Portable Lamp – GUBI

The Hornbæk Portable Lamp by GUBI is inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of the Danish coastal town of Hornbæk and designed for Hotel CORI Hornbæk. The design subtly references wind-filled sails and the traditional lanterns that were once used along harbors and on ships.

With its sculptural form and light appearance, the lamp creates a warm, inviting atmosphere – both indoors and outdoors. The soft glow is filtered by the canvas shade, whose yellow trim evokes long summer evenings, sunlight, and blooming coastal flowers.

The combination of a ceramic base, refined brass details, and an elegant ring handle gives the lamp a distinct maritime character. Thanks to its portable design, you can easily move the Hornbæk from the living room to the balcony, terrace, or even a tree branch in the garden.
