The Aalto Table 96 by Artek, designed by Alvar Aalto, is a versatile and timeless table with a characteristic semi-circular shape. Thanks to its clever design, this table is perfect as a compact dining table, workspace, or as an extension to an existing table arrangement.

Made in Finland from high-quality Finnish birch wood, the table exudes warmth and natural elegance. The tabletop is finished with matte black linoleum, providing a soft, durable, and low-maintenance surface that feels pleasant to the touch and is suitable for daily use.

The semi-circular shape offers flexibility in use: place the table against a wall, combine two units to form a round table, or use it as an extension to the rectangular Aalto tables 81A and 82A.

Characteristic of the design are the iconic L-shaped legs, which Aalto developed in 1933. This revolutionary construction makes it possible to attach the legs directly to the tabletop, resulting in a simple yet extremely sturdy structure. Aalto himself considered this innovation one of his most important contributions to design.
