The Artek + Heath Tile Table Square by Artek is a remarkable interplay of Scandinavian design and artisanal ceramics. This compact table, perfect next to your sofa or in a hallway, combines functionality with a rich, tactile appeal.

The tabletop is constructed from handmade tiles by Heath Ceramics, carefully selected and laid by hand. The various glazes create a subtle interplay of color and texture, ensuring that no two tables are alike. This natural variation and the artisanal process give each table a unique character.

The collaboration between Artek and Heath Ceramics reflects a shared design philosophy, with references to the architectural works of Alvar Aalto and the environments in which both brands are rooted. The result is a design that brings together tradition and modernity in a refined manner.

A special detail is the dual-glaze ‘keystone’ tile, which serves as a subtle maker's mark and refers to the year of production. In addition to the existing Green+ and White+ versions, there is now also a warm Red+ variant, inspired by the rugged landscape of California.
