The Oya Laundry Basket redefines an everyday object traditionally kept out of sight. Instead, the laundry basket becomes an aesthetic statement, designed to be seen – in the bedroom, hallway, or utility room.

Developed in collaboration with Søren Rose Studio, Oya is crafted from perforated steel and combines robustness with visual lightness. Two overlapping metal bowls together form an elegant, floral pattern that softens the industrial material and transforms it into a refined design object.

The name Oya is inspired by the Japanese word kakomu, which means to surround or embrace. The meaning also resonates with tsutsumi – the idea of ​​concealment – ​​and with the organic shape of a tulip, gently folding around its core. The rounded, polished surfaces and the signature halo ring give the basket a sculptural appearance in which function and form perfectly blend.

Oya comes with a 75-liter cotton laundry bag and is available in Warm Grey and Dark Grey.
