The Topan lamp by &Tradition is based on Verner Panton's legendary 1959 pendant lamp.

The table version retains the same minimalist, round aluminum shade, but places it on a transparent acrylic base, creating the illusion of the shade floating in the air! A visible fabric cord provides a grounding effect and adds a touch of character.

About the designer:

Verner Panton (1926-1998) is considered one of the most influential Danish furniture and interior designers of the 20th century.
