Designed by Milan-based AMDL CIRCLE, under the direction of Michele De Lucchi, the Bistra lounge chair is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic rattan bistro chair. Suitable for a variety of living and lounge spaces, the frame is steam-bent, creating flowing curves. The backrest features traditional rattan wickerwork, and the removable seat cushion is upholstered in high-quality cotton.

The shapes of the Bistra collection are reminiscent of plants sprouting from the ground and branching out into interwoven structures. The design emerged from AMDL CIRCLE's search for the essence of rattan—one of the fastest-growing plants in the world. Rattan is remarkably strong, durable, and resilient, yet lightweight and highly flexible. Whether placed solo or as part of a group, the Bistra chair brings warmth, charm, and character to your interior.
