The design of the Kydo tray is inspired by the ancient Japanese art of archery, kyudo. The shape of the handle evokes the graceful and powerful movement of an archer preparing their arrow. Elegance, grace, and strength, as well as flexibility and sturdiness – these are the core values that guided us in the design of this tray.

The design process began with an old Japanese print of an archer. This inspiration led to the first sketches, which led to the idea of a bowl with a cylindrical handle, ideal for comfortable carrying.
