The ARBA Lounge Chair is a simple yet refined composition of two molded plywood elements, a cross-like structure of bent metal profiles and a die cast aluminium base. In its clarity, the composition communicates directly with the user.

The chair has nothing to hide and yet it surprises us once we sit in it. Seat and back are perfectly shaped and positioned, the central spine adds the dynamic movement typical of flat sheet metal, to which the base adds a pleasant swivel function. The chair keeps the formal purity of an experimental prototype while it is a well-thought and precisely made industrial product that comes in a flat box and can be mounted with a few simple actions.
