The Kiki lounge chair from Finnish Artek was designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1960. The frame of the armchair is made of lacquered steel and the seat is upholstered in soft Artek zebra fabric. Instead of wood, Tapiovaara decided to use oval steel tubes as the structural element in the Kiki series of armchairs and sofas, giving the sleek silhouettes an elegant and timeless spirit. The Kiki armchair is suitable for use in your living room, but also in public spaces.
