Expertly crafted with sustainability in mind, the Eternity chair exemplifies Mater's dedication to creating durable pieces for the 21st century.

A design by Space Copenhagen, the Eternity is characterized by its enchanting texture and appearance.

The chair is made from Mater Circular Materials, a mix of 70% industrial plastic waste from Grohe and 30% Coffee Bean waste, this is mixed to create a composite material before being molded into shape for the comfortable and sculptural chair.

By using Mater Circular Materials, the Eternity chair then reduces CO2 emissions and provides an efficient way to up-cycle industrial waste. The round seat and back are supported by a set of thin steel seat legs, which further emphasize the industrial and sculptural characteristics of the chair.

Powder-coated metal frame with seat shell made of 70% plastic waste, 22% coffee shells and 8% recycled fiberglass.

About the designers:

Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by designers Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou.

Their studios' work spans multiple disciplines, from furniture, lighting and refined objects to art installations, art direction and interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants around the world.
