The Hay Soft Edge series has been made possible through the exploration and development of molded plywood techniques, the Soft Edge series combines clean lines with an extreme lightness to create a three-dimensionality not normally possible with 2D plywood.

Because your body never comes into contact with sharp edges or corners, the Soft Edge chair is not only visually friendly, but also actually ensures a wonderful, dynamic seating comfort. The seat and backrests embrace the human body, like a chair has never before!

Soft Edge 60 is available in a chair with a wooden base or with a steel base. Both versions are extremely lightweight and also stackable. This makes the chairs suitable for a variety of purposes: from classrooms and auditoriums to catering, or simply for your home.
