This magazine table from Fredericia is a design from 1949, and is a good example of Danish modernism from that time. According to designer Jens Risom, the secret of good design lies in comfort, an elegant look and the warmth of natural wood - and that is what this minimalist table is all about. Equipped with a small magazine rack, the table is the perfect side table that can be placed next to a couch or armchair. This uniquely constructed Magazine table is made of oak veneer.

About the designer:

Jens Risom (1916-2016) was part of the golden age designers of Danish modernism. He mainly made a career in the United States, where he combined characteristics of Scandinavian design, functionality and high-quality materials with American influences that he took over in New York. The works of Jens Risom have been selected for collections from, among others, MoMa and The Cooper Hewitt Museum.
